  • Did you need to go to OS Giken or other Salisbury differential to maintain power with the lightly-loaded inside tire? The decal implies you did.
  • Since the tires are 25.6" diameter vs 24.7" for the OEM size, how adversely affected was the geometry?
  • The stiffer than common front springs help keep the geometry in check?
  • Was their stiffness determined from testing?
  • Did they help keep the tires out of the fenders under braking? I'm guessing you pull some of the highest braking forces of any S2000.
  • Hoosier has that size (and lots of sizes around it) in both 17" and 18" wheel diameter. Why did you choose the 18"?
We do run a custom tuned osgiken. It has eliminated all of the wheel spin and is tuned with a lot of lockup. We run it pretty high probably halfway between stock and what the str guys run. Spring rates were tested but not by me. I cloned Robert Thorne setup on rates. Tire wise is about as wide as you can get under the fenders and the taller tire helps contrubute to the 71mph 2nd gear which is about as good as it gets for autocross

Is that with an AP2 trans or did you swap to an AP1?
