02 s2k vs 02 wrx (wrx then races 03 type s)

02 s2k vs 02 wrx (wrx then races 03 type s)
well my friends and i were sitting at sonic when one of them got a call and was asked if he'd like to race his 03 rsx type s vs one of our other friends newly bought 02 wrx. he said sure and we drove to meet the guy. we all thought the wrx would competely walk all over the type s however when they raced from a stop the rsx lost barely even when the guy launched the wrx. the guy in the wrx was a good driver and definately new how to launch so i don't want any comments back about "he must not have known how to drive the car" since that comment seems to show up pretty frequently. the wrx was stock except for a BOV, and the type s had a SRI as well as springs(but that wouldn't affect the outcome much). after this we began to ride down the road and my other friend andy and i were in the s2k beside the wrx with the top and windows down. he rolled down his window and said he wanted to go from a roll. so i eased up to 5.5k(outside of vtec i know but i felt lucky 
) and i blew the horn three times and we went. i ran 2nd gear all the way to 9k and shifted to 3rd into vtec and ended about 7k in 3rd. i had well over 2 cars on him when we stopped. i only have aem v2 cai. after that the type s ran the wrx on the interstate from a 40 and 50 mph dig and won both times to 80 and 90 respectavely by 3 cars roughly. the wrx didn't even follow him back to the meeting spot and we basked in the glory of vtec. Honda>Subaru tonight.
