Default 04 EVO MR Vs S2000

So today my friend installed his new exhaust so we decided to give it a run. He has injen intake, I think injen ic piping, mbc set to 22 psi just for our race he normally has it set to 20. It has a hks exhaust and a catless downipe. He has not been tuned yet. I have a ap1 with vortech kit running at 9 psi pulley with a street tune by me on my aem ems and meth.

So to the race. We did a few roll races from 1st went to 4th and I pulled on him each race. not by much a length or two I would say. We raced from a stop once and we were pretty even I got an ok launch and he messed his launch up I was suprised so that was another win. It was a pretty fun race looking forward to some more.

Correction it is an 06

Well they run 13.0 at 103 stock. His has some nice mods on it and really woke up with the exhaust. No idea what it runs but its quick he just slapped around a cobra earlier today no idea what it had done though.

As far as running all that untuned I dont know much about evos but we were talking to some evo guys and they were suggesting running 20 psi with those mods until he gets it tuned. Dunno if they knew what they were talking about I do know theirs ran pretty damn fast.

13.0, yup but @ only 103 !

a stock s2000 can trap almost 103, which means it WILL hang hard from a roll.
the 13.0 is from the gangster 0-60 times the Evo gets.

from a roll your Supercharged S should handle at ease.

ive ran a stock MR all the way up to 140+ right at about 125 I had at least half a car on him and slowly kept inching away.
