Maybe a little off topic, but to it's credit, the 4.7 is a great motor. The GC with the 4.7 is pretty quick. Sure, it can't keep up with the S, but that's what the SRT8 is for. Jeeps are awsome, just not for drag racing.

i work for a jeep dealership and the 5.7's and 6.1's have alot of power. From a dig, the srt-8 with its awd is pretty impressive. i would think twice on taking one of them from a stop light

I used to own a Jeep cherokee lol not really street racing material. I did see one beat a 3.4m6 firebird. But beating a 3.4 bird is about like beating a one legged man in a 100meter foot race nothing to brag about.
