so im out rollin around with boyracers2k tonite, and we are just relaxin cruisin, hes top down, im top up. we are on trop east of the strip. mike gets ahead of me a ways and im kinda stuck. so i roll into it to catch up. well, i passed a 35th anniv. with the top down. and thought nothin of it. well, he wanted to test his 5665 cc vs my 2157 cc. he rolls by me and jumps on it.
so i move over to his lane *behind him* and let his ears know im back there
(courtesy of AEM) next light turns green just as we roll through it, i stay in 2nd as we clear traffic, and push him all the way to 100. at the next light, he wont even look at me. we get a little further down the road and it opens up to 3 lanes. hes kinda upset and drivin about 60 in a 35. so i match him, with mike in the slowest lane, and we roll onto it. i had a baby jump, and stayed about 1 car to car and a half out in front, to about 120. as mike can attest, as he watched, this guy was yankin gears like rat fink. so wheres all the troll LS1 guys now.

p.s. if you follow my posts, my clutch is wasted, it slips on every shift. yeah,

Good run man! I had an encounter with a slightly modded (intake and exhaust) 02 SS and I was pretty much even with him. I had the top down and was racing on a street with a slight uphill incline. He was a really nice guy who was surprised to see a inline 4 keep up and complimented on my car.

I don't see it.

I have the chance to drive a guys 99 LS1 camaro frequently. He went 13.2@108 stock -- with a missed third gear. His Camaro is faster from any speed to any other than my S2000 -- hell I only slowly walk it on the highway in my 911 Turbo.

I guess I should expect to see some "I killed a 911 turbo with my stock S2000" posts here next.

Edit just noticed this is from the same guy who lies / presents partial truths in other threads -- figures.

my friends bone stock 2002 ss ran a 13.2 at 108 as well.... the thing only pulls harder as speeds get higher too.. not calling bs because i wasn't there but just wanted to lay down some facts.

Good kill, you beat the driver. The SS is just plain faster than the S2000. Hell, I barely pulled a stock SS in my modded VR4.
