I've heard both sides of the story. Some people say R32 would walk on S2k at 120mph+. Some people say S2k would dust a R32 from a stand still? If you have real life experience with this, please post. STOCK VS STOCK OR MODDED VS MODDED OR STOCK VS MODDED and Vise Versa.

not many new cars under 33k will walk the S2k at 120 +.. actually i cant think of one right now.. especially an AWD one.

Ive seen some threads regarding the S vs the r32 but most of them come out with the S winning. But I guess people dont want to post their losses.

i have smoked a couple i have intake and exhaust. on the roll i pull away good out of the hole i still pull once into second asta la bye bye r32

I would imagine form a dead stop they could pull a bit since its awd, but I think the S could take it top end.

I can think of one..The Evo!! Been there and done that, believe me the Evo which cost us $30K out the door and $1000 in mods right now smokes the S2K easily...Not even close, even after 120 the S cant gain an inch as a matter of fact its still being pulled on by the slow awd car

ok my friend has a r32 with cold air and exhaust from a 45 roll i pulled him by a half a car. by the way im stock, but when his friend drives he pulls me by a car.

then i went to the track when night and im here in new mexico so we have high elevation. i was hitting 15.1's at the track. And a stock r32 was hitting 15.4's. i guess it really depends on the driver. because i have ran into a black r32 also off a 40 roll and pulled him by 2 cars.

By the way off the line wise the r32 at track did pull me by half a car. but then caught him in 2nd gear.

Ive raced 2 different VW R32's under different circumstances. First time was from a stoplight, thru a lil chicane and straight ahead... I came out by atleast 1 car length and steadily pulling. The 2nd one was on the highway from 70mph.... initially at the start he would jump on me but once I got full Vtec going I would blow by him everytime... up to 115 or so then Id let off. Nice looking cars tho.
