I was the one with crappy launches that night. The whole point of a FORD beating a HONDA doesn't fly with me. I used to drag Civics and FORD's didn't stand a chance good driver or not.
S2000 vs 5 speed Mach1.. I'm sorry, unless the driver in the Mach1 really sucks, will loose by almost a second in the 1/4..(yes, it's possible for a Mach1 with traction to high high 12's in the 1/4, has to have the drive mod though)

As for Honda's beating Fords, unless your talking about a 2 wheel Honda, that's not going to fly either.. Sure, I know your going to say there are 10 sec Civics out there, completely gutted running built engines and turbo.. but then again, there's Mustangs and other Fords that have the same stuff that are running 8's..

Stock for Stock, Honda automobiles are just out horsepowered, yes, this is including the Acura NSX..

now handling, that's a horse of a different color....

No I won't tell you that theres 10 sec Honda's out there even though there are. I will tell you though that there is a Civic that ran a 6.81 @ 203mhp. Driven by Stephan Papadikis.

Heres the proof.

lol.. OH thats a Ford alright. But it's more of a compact car GONE WILD ... Weight = enemy when it comes to handling. That escort looks to be like 2000 lbs

and damn he looks like a good driver . But what the hell do I know?!

It's a good thing they are also outweighed by their domestic counterparts.

In what cases? Last I checked, I've beaten plenty of cars that have more power but weigh 3500+lbs. Mustang GT's, Charger R/T's, Grand Prix GTP's, '04 GTO's etc... My measly 240hp does the job well thanks to saving almost 1000+lbs on the "competition." The only one that isn't an outright pig is the Corvette.

I've only blown away a Mach 1 while driving my stock Evo, but that's not a Honda.
