Be nice Bob we were just having fun late at night 3am we block the streets
Two things...This is ILLEGAL and if caught, your cars WILL be confiscated.
Secondly...This gives the IE a black eye and makes me (and others) wonder what in the hell is wrong with the CO, not only for condoning it, but also promoting it.
I suggest one of the CO's on here take Ron Blanfords advice and move these topics...

its funny how you guys get all over this, but when Ron Blanford was flying through the canyons at break neck speeds no one seemed to mind. I remember Bob, Bobs wife and others talking about his driving habits at an IE meet. Lets see, straight line on the freeway/open roads or racing through the canyons? sick of all the s2k elites.
Just for the record though. That was a private road and it was closed off. I wouldn't do anything that would put others in danger.

i think it's all good. Good race, but a mach 1 mustang will beat a s2k with even an ok driver. A lot of mustang owners dont know how to drive.
You cannot generalize like that and expect it to hold water. The S2K DOES demand a LOT higher driver-skill to get good times out of at the strip than mustang's do. This is due to having to do all but red-line clutch drops to avoid bogging where the mustang driver has to do no such thing.
