Dodge Charger SRT8
 

To the idiot in the new Dodge Charger SRT8 riding my bumper on the onramp getting onto the highway and then merging and almost not letting me merge on ... I hope you learned your lesson.

Thankfully this idiot lets me get on the highway by switching lanes last second and letting me merge on. He was going full throttle and I let him get a half car on me. At this point, I decided to go for it and see if I could catch up so I didn't bother shifting up to 4th. Just mashed it on 3rd. By the time I hit 80mph, I was already several cars ahead. I let him do a ricer fly by because I like to maintain safe a safe speed but I could see his shocked and disappointed face. I made sure my tinted windows were rolled down so he could see the smile on my face. I'm sure those 470hp can beat up on a lot of cars but a supercharged AP2 isn't one of them. I don't know why but I've seen a lot of chargers (even the v6 ones lol) act like complete douches not letting people merge on or tailgating them. Most of the time I just watch and laugh but this one messed with the wrong s. I doubt he will try that again on another s.

I had this happen with a V6 Charger and a V6 Challenger. I'm not sure what it is about these guys thinking their cars are God's gift to the knock off muscle car world. The challenger that took off on me was automatic. He wasn't happy to see my fly around him on a nice round CA highway on ramp. Maintained 55MPH as he slowed to about 35. Then of course a ricer fly by ensued. I'm sure he bragged to his friends later that he beat an s2k
