i started looking into the k20-hatch combo then i hydrolocked the motor and bought the S so i never really looked into it much. what i dont understand is why are people getting the k200 over the k24? i was leaning towards the k24 tsx motor w/6 speed. is it that k20s are just easier to get/mod? wouldnt the 24 be a whole lot better. i also wondered the same thing about the B-H motor swaps. isnt a stock H22 into a stock eg a mid 13 sec car?

I"ve got a buddy with a K20 head and a K24 bottom end. With full botl ons he put down close to 240 at the wheels. It's very fast. About as fast as the firebird but no way for a 400 HP car.

I don't care what the hatch has in NA mods on that K20....the races were rigged! No way a NA hatch is beating a supra till the end of fifth fourth or even third.. especially a 400whp one from a roll.

Here's another k20 in an EG hatch...Running high 12's with just basic I/E/H/Kpro...and this one doesn't sound as fast as the other hatch
