My father in law who I don't get along with very well just bought a 2016 Audi A7. They weigh about 4200 and make 333hp and 325trq. I would love to shove my S down his and the A7's throat. Do you guys think I stand a chance? My AP1 is making 315whp and 297wtrq?
Your input is greatly needed, I don't want to make an @ss out of myself or my S.

Im not sure why you're even asking this question. You have nearly the same whp as he has at the crank and weight nearly a literal ton less.

 

Be sure he thinks his car is faster and wanting to prove it otherwise you'll just look like a doucher with a complex but yeah, youll kill that thing. GL

For sure, I'm not that type of guy. Sooner or later he will talk smack My wife told me that he was boasting about the A7's supercharger, i just laughed .

 

The A7 is a nice place to be, very pretty. And thats about it. The S7 on the other hand...

There is this hot shot in the finance department at the toyota dealership I work at and he just bought a 2015 a7... he thinks it's the fastest and nicest car on this planet. My s2000 has full bolt ons along with custom 3.5" cai, 70mm throttle body and matched manifold dyno tuned on kpro and made 240whp. I also have 4.57r gears. So one day on my way home from work sure enough I came up on him on the perfect section of open double lane rd. so we rolled down our windows and he told me to go showing how cocky he is. We slowed to about 35mph and I said ready and downshift to 2nd and take off... he never had a chance. He instantly got on it also and I put about 2 cars on him by about 120mph. The gym I go to is right down this road so I pull in and he follows and we talk. First thing he says is I thought that car was all motor and I said it is haha... he said he honestly gave me a good run. If we went from 3 honks maybe it would have been a little closer maybe 1 car by 120mph but I slowly crept from him the whole race... for reference I ran a 13.5 at the drag strip....

You making over 300whp should be a wash...

 

You'd probanly easily win the race but make sure it's worth it in the long run!

If you two don't get along very well now, it'll probably be worse if you beat him in his new ride!

just be sure the smug feeling you'd get from beating him in a one or two minute race is worth the longer term consequences......
