My friend had everything on his car before going S2(intake,DV, catless-DP,exhaust) We did 3 deeps and he pulled right away and stayed 2 cars infront. If the gti was staying up with you he was S1, if he was S2 he would have pulled.
my buddie ran a 13.6@103btw...so he's on the high end average of a basic STG2 car...
BUTTTT...when our good friend had a stock 05 S2k and the STG2 GTI ran him the GTI would have a car on him by 100, but by 130 the S was up on the GTI by about 1 car...lol...

Was your car stock when you raced him and he was S2? I'm not saying it can't happen but its kinda hard to believe. We raced another s2k it was an ap1 though and we pulled on him by about a car almost 1.5. The s2k had exhaust and intake. They weren't that great of runs but I could tell what would of happened if they were good runs.

no im not stock...basically i have I/H/TP/E/4:30's/2650lbs...but dont let the boltons fool you..really most of my acceleration is coming from the mild gears and the weight reduction...and our friend in an AP2 still got by him by 130mph and he was stock...
