Default Goldwing VS S2K in bunnel

OK I was Down at bike week on my 06 (1830cc horizontal 6 cylinder)pearl white Gold wing. Having been too the dyno drags earlier that day and pulling a 11.4 in the "quarter" on it (my wing) I was feeling pretty spiffy.
My brother and his freind was flowing us back to thundergulch. onto hwy 1 from downtown bunnel from dinner, this dude in a S pulls along side me at the light and I instigate a little race. Knowing I can smoke a stock s. Which his looked, you know for fun to just ras him a little. Well this dude launched and ate my lunch including my cookie and juice. He was a great sport even slowing down to take a look at what he just raced, I guess to make sure of what it was. I think it was white hard to remember. I got spanked by an S though. My wife said she heard a BOV but I was busy putting a 1100 pound motorcycle through its paces 2 up. If this is someone here HOWDY and very clean race. Any way great race.

+1. I didnt think those bikes were nearly that quick. An average turbo S would struggle to run low 12's let alone 11.5.

Higher speed rolls are a different animal, which FI S's really shine, but even so.

I call

until someone trustworthy with more info in the field re-educates me

EDIT: I realize that no one said it was an average turbo S that you ran into. Perhaps you ran into one of the "Sideways calibre S's).

Still, smells like

I guess this was no average FI'ed S. A Turbo S can get to the 10's.
