Hi I own a Mustang Cobra
I thought that would get your guys attention. I would just like to say hello and introduce myself. I do own a 2001 Cobra but I'm here at this fine site because I love all fast cars. A doctor friend of mine owns an S2000 and got me interested. We've raced each other a couple of times and I have yet to lose, but it is close every time. The power you guys get out of 4 cylinders just amazes me. I wish I could pull as much power per cubic inch as you guys are getting. Anyway your probably wondering why I would buy a Cobra instead of a S2000? The answer is simple. I've always wanted one. That and I have never liked convertibles. I can't say why but for some reason they never appealed to me. Anyways just wanted to say hello and hope to talk to you all soon.

Thanks,
Yeah all the magazines say the stock cobra runs 13.3 but the best I have done is 13.8. This is a tough car to launch well. I'm still getting used to it. Normally I let the clutch out too fast and just bog and have to play catch-up. The doc is a great driver we switched cars once and I drove his S2000. We both practiced a couple launches and when we got used to each other's car we raced. He spanked me. I used to think that drag racing was boring because you just went in a straight line, I'm an old stock car driver, and thought drag racing would be easy. Now I realize that I suck at it. O-well it will be alot of fun practicing. In the mean time I hope I don't get spanked by a neon or a civic or something, try living that one down.
