I know a guy with the handle Reddevil has one. I'd love to see how it compares to my C5. I drove a friend's new 2001 red/black S2k last weekend and I really enjoyed driving it. Very much handled like a go-cart (good thing!), but it seemed to lack a bit in the power department. I ran to redline in first through 3 a few times, nice car, but just didn't seem to have a lot of power. I guess the power delivery is deceptive because of the broad powerband, it just didn't seem to accelerate even remotely close to how my C5 accelerates. I'd like to see how an SC S2k stacks up. Any takers? It would just be for fun, of course.

Time slips seem to be a rare item around here but I expect your C5 still whips a S/C'd S2K by a half-second or more at 1/4-mile.

Having driven both I can fairly say there is a boost in power but nothing coming close to the C5. I would say it's the same as stock just more of it. You will rifle through the gears much quicker but it doesn't make up for those 4 extra cylinders. I would think it can do consistant low-mid 13s but nothing like your 12s.

It's just not built for that straight-line grunt and the SC wont close the gap. The extra power I found most noticable in the 5-7K RPM range.
