Killed a 3000GT with Turbo's and major mods!!!

About two weeks ago... I had posted in a thread where a fellow s2ki member mentioned a nice 3000gt he had encounterd. I posted about a beuatiful... cherry red... mint condition... with a full gauge set (turbo's and NOS)... lowered with some coil overs... and some nice... light weight 17's (couldn't catch the actual brand)... that I had come across on the same day.
In my encounter... I didn't race the guy... in actuallity... he wouldn't even look my way. It is assumed that this gent had fried bigger fish...
......but today?
I OWNED HIM!
I came around a tight tight bend on I96 near Brighton, Mi. today, when I saw my white whale...
He sat there idling on the side of the road... watching as I approached. He knew what was about to happen...
I see his other victim parked just ahead... pounding his fist into the cab of his (must be modified) F150. Their encounter seemed to be illfavored for both... no clear loser... but no clear winner either?
So now it is my turn... I make my approach, and decide to do a rolling start... he obliges.
...I steadily place my hand on my aluminum knob (
)...drop the car into third, and watch as he attempts to get to speed...
we glance at one another as if it is our final stand at the Alamo...
....and with a final glaring gaze, like the burnt desert eyes of 'The kid himself...
We \"Gun\" it!!
....3rd gear... 4th... 5th... I'm GONE!!
Whew... so exhilerating... best kill I've ever had... too bad the
er was being TOWED!!!Maybe next time I should challenge him when he's NOT being hauled away from a major wreck with a truck twice his size!
(seriously... what a waste... the car was really in mint condition 2 weeks ago... and now I see the exact same one totalled from an idiot highway accident... sad.)

Nah... no ambulances...
It looked like the majority of the damage was done to Don Juan's ego... (the guy had the slicked back pony tail, fresh with the flavor-saver mustache)
His cars right front was damaged enough to where he couldn't drive (fender into the wheel). The truck had his tailgate smashed in... so it looked like my "whale" wasn't paying attention!
