the S2K does not make sh*t for torque, however, it is geared so well it puts down more torque to the wheels than most V8's. enjoy

Is this true? and which V8s? 1984 merc V8?

saying a S2000 puts out more torque than a lot of V8's after gearing multiplication is a pretty loaded thing to say...i mean i can think of over a dozen V8 powered cars that a stock 1983 VW rabbit w/ 105hp can beat...there were a lot of sloww ass, restricted V8's that had horrible gearing...

sure after gearing multiplication a stock AP1 in its band will put down about 1900ft lbs to the wheels in first...and a stock F22c will put down ~2100ft lbs in first....but run the numbers on any number of modern V8's...the S gets pummeled...

for example...the 2011 ford mustang V6...Yes V6...the automatic gear box(4.17 first gear), w/ the 2.73 rear end(not the optional 3.31); is still putting down an average of 2675ft lbs over its power band that it races in...

what if you throttle lift oversteer? you don't need power for that hahaha
