Hey Bassmaster, I agree about the FM turbo cars, but the JR equipped cars? I haven't seen one yet that performed well enough to do anything more than keep up with an S2K (maybe). Even with extra bolt ons and tuning the typical JRSC Miata is only looking at 160-180 wheel hp, and heatsoak is a bitch on JRSC cars (I know, I have one).

Hey UL my SC miata was pretty quick..I had the light flywheel,JR clutch,JR headder, 8psi boost upgrade,AFPR Pierburg Fuel pump. It would run 14.0s in the 1/4 and a 5.3 0-60..ExZ3owner had a similair set up. He worked at A Honda Dealership as a Finance manager,We got several chances to test out the S 2000's,To the tune of smoking clutches, I customer came in one day talking all the junk about how he would beat his miata at the stoplight..Long story short EX Z3 beat him 3 time back to back for 10.00..the guy said "you didnt tell me it wasnt stock"
I agree that anything thing can be modded...and I like S2000's matter of fact I have small scaled one sitting on my computer... S2000 even modded with the SC is no match for the FM II..There was one at the miata Dyno day SC and all it dynoeed 272RWHP with 179 torque. still cool cars
