Is my S capable of mid 7s...
My S is making just over 350rwhp on a dynapack (around 325rwhp on a dynojet). With the weight reductions I have done thus far, I estimate that it weighs under 2800 lbs...possibly close to 2700. With drag radials, and good driving (good launch, low 60', no mis-shifting, etc.) would my S be capable of running mid 7s in the 1/8 mile?
Cliff notes: A while back (prior to going boost), I participated in some 1/8 mile in my local area and went up against several different cars. My only loss was against an '05 supercharged GT Mustang (with slicks). I got killed on that run--I ran a 8.9 compared to his 7.5! My goal is to go out there and beat the shit out of that Mustang! LOL!
Thoughts?

You could hit mid 7's. You will bust the diff pretty quick though.
edit
8.9 isnt too shabby depending on the mods you had then.

Anyways, my 8.9 was with the following mods:
4.57-R FD, Toda header, AEM CAI, Invidia cat-back exhaust, Hondata IMG
8.9 with those mods isn't that great. The run was with RT-615s, which suck for drag racing. Plus my drag racing skills need major improvement!
I do plan on doing the R200 conversion...

I am sure that I will break my OEM diff, although I do have the Comptech diff upgrade. LOL!

Yes, my S was capable of running mid 8s with that N/A setup. With my current setup I am pretty sure it could run mid 7s with DRs. I know that I have a significant weight advantage over that S/C GT, and as far as power goes it was maybe making 100rwhp more.
