Default MY06 S2k vs. Friends MY06 EVO MR

So we both have had our cars for some time but never talked about racing each other but yesterday night after the club we happened to drive both our cars and on the same highway back home. It was 2-3am and the roads were clear so he calls me up and ask if I wanted to do a quick run. The weather outside was like 10 degrees from what the temperature reading said in my S2K. I had a passenger and he had no one. I told him fine and we did a quick run from 60-120 when he shut down. I started in 3rd at 60mph and did the usual 3 honks, right at the start i gained i think 1/2 - 1 car on him, it was hard to see since my side windows were half fogged up. I'm ahead all of 3rd and I think midway into 4th he started pulling up and passed me, by the end of 5th he was about 1-2 cars in front and thats when he shut down. Im pretty sure that im a lot faster at shifting gears then him so not sure if that factors in to why he was only 1-2 cars in front. But a good race with a good friend otherwise. How did I do?
