For those that never take their cars to the strip, 1 sec on the strip is equal to multiple car lengths or 'a great distance'

If the trap speed is around 100mph, 1s would be aprox 146ft.

lol yeah a stock s2000 with a driver and passenger wouldn't take a newer civic si with just a driver. those things are surprisingly quick and stock s2000s are painfully slow. he wasn't racing.

Stock SIs only put down 10-15whp less than stock S2ks, plus the k-engines mod much better. No stock s2k is going to blow the doors off of one.

 @ Blowing Doors off!

A bit harsh? I've never heard anyone describe the first gen NSX is a "painfully slow" car and it puts up the same numbers as the S. The S is 14 years old and is still quick enough to keep up with a six speed, 2013 V6 Accord coupe.

First, WTH does mod potential have to do with this?

Second, it's not just about HP, there are plenty of other factors that determine the outcome.

Anyway, my S2K is pretty much stock (test pipe and catback). The neighbor kid's friend has a 13' SI. When I get a chance, I'll line up from a dig and from a roll for you and post up the video. Until then, try not just spewing out your opinions as fact.

Back in 2009 I had a new 09 civic SI sedan and raced a 2001 s2000 from a 30 roll to 130 a few times. Both cars stock, each car only having a driver. Every single gear the s2000 continued to pull further away, at the end it was probably 4 car lengths away.

So yes the s2000 is slow, but damn guys it is faster than an 06 or 12+ civic. There is a 40hp difference, come on...

Your funny :). This isn't my first rodeo hauss, I have owned and driven lots of different cars. I have lots of experience and first hand knowledge, what I am "spewing out" isn't my opinion, it is the facts, my man.

I brought up the potential because he said "unknown mods", i.e. If it was modded it would be even less believable. Try not to get your panties all in a bunch, it is only a 240hp car parked in your driveway
