The switch from low cam to hi is less noticeable; however, you still "hear" vtec. You hear it from the lowered engagement of 4600 rpm all the way to 8600. I had KPRO and the switch from low cam to hi was very pronouned. It went from econo car with small engine to F1 car. At least we have established the guy had more than just a simple intake.

yes.. that is what i ment. thanks for the correction.

the "switch" from low to high is less noticeable...

however, when the majority of the people speak of hearing vtec.. its the switch that they're talking about.. imo.

It's either he has I/H/E/Reflash or you completely suck at driving. This is the reason why little kids on ClubRSX think they can keep up with just an intake.
sad isnt it? i dont even read there kill section anymore its so ridiculous..

cmon guys. don't make no technical excuses. the guy on the rsx-s is not telling no lies. it's just a driver's race. ask that guy to race again but this time you have to exchange cars. see who wins.

They discontinued the rsx cause it sucks so bad. I'm so glad I have my 06. Another thing not all race headers are created equal. The rsx is not like the s2000 when it comes to mods. Some race headers make insane power on the k20. I could put a quiet exhaust like the mugen twin loop on my rsx fitted up to a race header and the car will not sound louder than stock. If you have a very capable tuner for the kpro the car will put down some serious power with the right bolt ons. It is not uncommon for a set of cams to give the k20 30+hp. Don't think that you guys will walk every rsx out there. By the way 14.5 with a turbo kit. What did the guy do spin for two seconds straight? People have run that on stock 05's.

S2k vs RSX with intake is NOT a driver's race.

the new Rsx type S's are supposed to be faster. closer to the integra type R then the previous gen type S's.

I used to have a bolt-on 02' RSX-S with kpro which sure as hell was faster than a stock s2k. Here is a little clip of it.

For comparison, here's a vid of my s2k with just an intake.

Both runs were done on the same stretch of road under very similar conditions. rsx > s2k

Another thing the s2000 doesn't rev as quick as the rsx does. Owning both cars I came to that realization a long time ago.

xman didn't you get an srt-4 after selling your car?
