Default not a matter of pride,

So I was just filling up my tank when a woman with a mini cooper (non S) convertible pulls up at the pump next to me and asks why I bought my car.... I got excited and told her everything i know great about my car.... She looks at me un-impressed and says that the mini can out handle my car (never saying "s2000") any day of the week. Is she correct?

The mini is a great handling car. Not sure it's better than the s2k, but it's pretty close. The problem with the mini is s2k can run circles around it in acceleration.

You should've picked up her mini Mini and thrown it in the trash, then squirted petroleum on her face for even suggesting such a thing. She probably drove her car through a twisty street once, passed someone in a Miata, and now believes her car is the shit.
She probably was riding her b/f's Mini because riding his mini dick isn't good enough.
She was probably on cocaine and thought this was a videogame.
She probably wanted to see if you'd take the bait, go through a canyon to see whose car is quicker, and then give you AIDS.

Okay, I'm done.
I bet she's done living now because...
Idk.

Its nimble and does handle well. Not sure its any competition for the S on a track though.

I go kart can out-handle an S2000 as well, still slow as balls

Usually when people talk down to my car (which is usually a lot) I politely tell them to **** off and pop my hood, and grab them by their necks and Show them the fury that is Honda S2000

I test drove a Mini S at an autocross once - I didn't have enough time to get really familiar with how well it handles, but I can say I wasn't extremely impressed with it. If I had to speculate based on the little experience I have with it I'd say the S2k handles better than a Mini-S, and I'm sure the Mini S handles better than the non-S Mini.

When magazines like Road & Track and Car & Driver do comparos - the S2k was always in the test group with faster cars like 335i's and 370Z's, and the Mini is in the slower group with the Ford Focus' and Toyota Camrys - that means something.
