S2000 turbo vs. 5.0 mustang/SC c6 vette.
Finally got to take my car out for some fun run and see what the car stack up against other. The plan was to race SC c7 vette. He dyno 650 ish whp, we didn't get any good run but from the looks of our run he pulls up top on me. Once we get some more clear run, I'll try to get some video.
The 5.0 mustang was a 2011 body style. unknown mod did one 3rd gear rolling hit. I let him get the jump before I full throttle mine. From 3rd to 4th gear. I had 2-3 cars on him already so I left off.
overall I'm happy with how my 500hp f20c did against those car. Maybe some sticky tires and I can do some breakboost 2nd gear run.

I just wanted to see how they were. I let off half way threw 4th seeing how far I pull him already. He also knew that he didn't need to try anymore too. I met him on the way to meet up with the SC c7. Figure it wouldn't hurt to try because since I got this car tune. I haven't rip threw these gear on this power level.

I raced one of those 5.0 back when I was supercharged at 375whp/11psi in either 2011 or 2012. We ran from a dig to 1/8th mile before highway merge to 1 lane and I pulled on his ass all the the way, with a conservative 3 car finally tally by then. My axle cups were vibrating like a mother I recall too, needing to swap them but hadn't got around to it yet, probably hurt me a bit but i gladly took the win. I remember his mustang still had the temp plates on it so was brand new. Wonder if he returned it the next day to complain something was wrong with it

I had 2 brand new 5.0''s test me lately on the highway I only dropped to 5th and walked away have also walked away from a newish m3 zo6 vette and a sc c6 but that was close. my car is somewhere around 450whp 325 tq at 18 psi with novi1200 with homemade air to air intercooler and a whiff of methanol. should be close to 500whp once I get my multi port methanol setup installed. Junky I did what you suggested and went with 125cc injectors from prometh and welding bungs onto the runners to give the water/meth a chance to swirl before it hits the air charge. I will keep the aem pre tbi and let the multiport kick in above 10 psi with the cold ait's I am running 15 degrees of timing at 18psi with just over 1 volt of knock at peak torque .
