Wins:
Countless Civics, Integras..usually riced. (puh-lease)
Celica GT-S
Mustang 5.0 (on the highway, several 60-100 runs)
WRX (on the highway, he would have surely killed me from a stop)
Several GTI and Jetta VR6es
Various gen1 and gen2 Eclipse turbos
Lots of Chevy S-10 "Extremes" (why do these guys always want to run?)
Prelude SH, both stock 5-speed and modded auto
Several Probe and Mazda MX-6 V6es
e36 & e46 BMW 325i
e30 BMW M3
Modded MR2 turbo (thought for sure he would win)
Grand Am GTP supercharged (barely got him...he was pissed)

Losses:
Audi S6 (on the highway)
Acura CL Type-S (highway)
S2000 (Twisty back road - it was this encounter that first made me want one )
Audi S4 (Twisty highway)
RX-7 TT (boy did I get smoked)
e36 BMW M3 (friend)
a few Camaro V8s (hey, it's worth a try)

BTW I never had any aspirations of beating any of the above cars, it was just nice to see what they can do.

In all, my GTI is a reasonably quick car that takes a lot of people by surprise, especially rice boys. There are few cars that can keep up on the highway, but launching is very, very difficult with 240 lb-ft of non-linear torque going to the front wheels.

1) 99+ Mustang GT (260hp), 0-95mph, (~0.75 car length).
2) Early 90's 5.0, modded, very loud, 50-120mph, pulled on him a little (~0.5 car length).
3) WRX (stock, I talked to the owner afterwards), 40-95mph, (1.5 car length).
4) Newer Miata (with exhaust, pretty loud) , 70-110mph, several times in a row, driver wouldn't give up, (a few bus lengths).
5) A number of Celica GTS, Preludes, Civics, integra etc...... I forgot the details cuz it all happened so fast.

Losses:

1) 96-97 911 convert, 0-70 mph (cuvry road), 1 car length.
2) 2001 S2000, 0-80 mph, 1 car length. I couldn't launch well at the time.
