That's almost a 1000 lbs difference with a S2k. And yes a blown S2k with a good tune can hang with a 03-04 cobra I know cause I expierenced it first hand. By the way my friend knows the guy with the yellow S2k and he's running a turbo with about 7psi's full exhaust and some other goodies.

Recently there was a yellow turbocharged S2K at an NSX meet...probably the same guy....

I just edged out a '03-'04 Cobra about a week ago on the highway....80 to 125 roll pulled about 1 car.

We ended up running our cars for a few miles. From 60-125 we were dead even. Ran about 4-5 times. I was shocked... Not here to rag on your cars cause I think they look sweet and handle like a mother. I'm just more into the drag racing. I'm completely stock but my damn Cobra is a monster off the show room floor. Hitting high 12's in the 1/4. 390 hp and 390 trq is the stock specs but very underrated. Was this anyone here? What the hell could he have done to it? Damn thing was quick...
get a chip and exhaust on that thing right away man

and then do some pulleys

you will shit yourself

Bigpurp,
How much hp did the AEM EMS add? I am looking to add that next. Also do you let the Dyno guys tune it then leave it alone? Thanks.

The EMS added about 10 WHP. But if you're looking at the EMS as a HP enhancing mod, you're looking at it the wrong way. It's about safe HP, not more HP. That's what the EMS is good for IMO.

And no, not just any "dyno guy" can tune an EMS. That is a recipe for disaster. You need to find an AEM certified tuner who knows what he's doing. Good luck.
