FEMALE DRIVER STORY:
After visiting Mother, on a 3 hour drive home around 5:00 pm on a Sat...on a 4 lane back road 45 mph zone, was delayed by a car & bike show as it broke up. I sat still for 5 mins...got inpatient & started revving the engine. So as soon as I could break free (you know the feeling) I was pulling ahead of all the cars & bikes I could in between lights. Once I was on the interstate & free of all traffic...set the cruise at 80 mph...all was good. An hour later I was passed by at least 30 bikers, all types of bikes...I tried to refrain but somehow the car slipped into 4th & we were On It! I pulled in behind the last guy just to see how fast they were going....95, 110, 125, 135 mph & I personally started shaking, not the S Car Go! I passed 15 of their slowest guys really quick. For 10 min's I hung with them...100 to 120 mph. (There was almost no one else on the road - I try not to be dangerous, just fun & it's not very often that this 35 yr old chick really let's it rip.) I backed off to 90 mph as long as they were still in my sight. But as it got dark I really cooled it. I had not kept the car that fast for that long & was really impressed with it. The road was fairly straight with lots of hills. I made it home in record time, 2 hrs 25 mins. What a ride.

We (me & hubby) bought it new 2 yrs ago this month (2002) & switch driving it every week....until we get another one! Has 46k miles & is driven every day. Absolutely love driving that car! But I love him more!!!

Nice! I always like it when sports cars try to keep up when I'm riding, even though we'd always have to wait up for the cages.

 

 

I have always wondered how my bike would do against my s. Unfortunately, I don't trust anyone to drive or ride the other to compare.
