On the way home Im at a red light top down. Summer night, gucci mane on the radio. What can be better then this. All of a suuden a mustang pulls up next to me and looks over and give me a heads up. So I wanted to see what these 5.0 liters were all about. First race about a 40mph roll i put about half a car on him till 70mph then we shut down. On the second run we went at a 40mph again he got the jump but I caught up to him again until about 80mph he started to pull and put half a car on me. I'm surprised that i hung for a little bit. Dunno If he was a auto or manuel? Does it matter on those cars. And he gave me a thumbs up.

the 2010 are not 5.0s. they are they same 4.6 3v motors as the 05-09s. 315hp in stock setup.

if it was a 2011, youre either lying or the guy didnt even try. were talking 412hp and 110mph traps against 240hp and 102mph traps.

The 5.0 would've smoked you. The 4.6's are lame-ducks for their size/# of cylinders. Good kill anyways, I hate the stereotypical mustang douche.

Yeah definitely a 4.6 or a newer v6 model. Not a 5.0 or guy was not trying to race you lol. Would have been left in the dust.

The 5.0 has similar performance to an M3. Like everyone else is saying, I also highly doubt you encountered a 5.0 Mustang.

which year is it with the taillight blinkers move inward to outward. it was dark and his car was black. so It was probably a older model. They come out with so many body style its hard to keep up. he looked like he just got the car couldn't have been older then 18. I had basic bolt ons- Cai and Invidia v3. But now that i think of it, It was probably a 4.6
