Nice race. I wonder what a 70 shot of nitrous would be equal to in a TC/SC. I would assume it would be about a 100-125 hp because it comes on immediately vs. having to spool up, or build on engine revs.
A 70 dry shot is probably worth about 50rwhp and 100rwtq.

If the 996 TT downshifted a split second after the nitrous s2k took off, the encounter sounds reasonable!

But no way would that happen if they took off the same time. The TT is capable of high 11's under the right conditions, awd, and pulls 190+

Its a street race guys anything can happen, for christ sakes I had an Izuzu rodeo hit the gas before me and by the time I realized he wanted to race and I dropped a gear and started to gain he was 4 cars a head of me because of the jump and he started 2 cars ahead.... he kept it pinned and yes I caught and pulled and then it got ugly but I had to get through almost two gears to get there.

I am just saying on the street most anything can happen... the Porsche could have had the Turbo Logo on the back and not have been a turbo... sad to see but it can happen, the honda here sounds like he had the lead to start and the jump which is a double impact on a race...... and yes can equal 1-2 seconds easily.... so if the porsche is a mid 11 1/4 car and the honda with the NOS is a mid 13.5 car then its a race,,,, and sounds like the 911 was going to end up pulling on him but just did not have the runway....

In no way, fashion, shape or form am I saying an s2k is as fast as a turbo 911 in a fair race,,,,, but on the street anything can guys.
