NNY S2K gave the link.
Thanks Brushman... that's just kind of odd. That's an awfully high mph for only a mid 13 sec run. My point behind the hole thing was that building the motor is key. The Neon motor just ain't a B series motor... it won't hold up under the same type of stress without spending some money. There's no way you're pusing anywhere close to 400 hp (let alone 475) through one of those without serious work. 13.5 is impressive for a 16 sec. factory car but my guess is that car is in the upper 200hp (maybe low 300) neighborhood... still a far cry from 475.

I agree, but a slip is a slip.

Well if you dont believe me here is the post for the stage V setup
http://www.turbosystem.com/auto/staged/s5.htm

Bill Hahn acctualy knows all about the stage V setup considering he owns a 98 that runs low 11's just about every weekend. Im not trying to talk shit, and I dont even own the car anymore, but I just wanted to prove my point and I happen to enjoy my s2000 more so than the eclipse.

First of all... going fast is no special feat... all it takes is money. Your speed is only limited by your bank account. All I'm saying is that when you leave out pertinent information like... oh by the way, I had a built motor... it changes things quite a bit. I doubt very seriously that an RS or GS eclipse with the Hahn Stage 2 set up could come anywhere close to a well driven S2000. I ran low 15's in my Eclipse GS-T when it was bone stock and 13.7-13.8 in my S2000 when it was bone stock. I doubt very seriously that a Stage 2 Hahn set up could pull anything less than high 14's to low 15's. Traction is not near as big an issure for the S2000 considering it's a much better balanced car and is RWD.

For guys that are just running stage 2(9psi) set-ups, low 14's are the common times you see. Almost like a lot of the S2000's on here, they were poorly driven. There have been a number of guys that have broke into the HIGH 13's with just the stage 2. Like you said, it's much harder to get those cars off the line. My son drove my completely stock S2000 at the track he runs his car at(Napierville dragway) and ran a 13.87 @ 101.989mph. Driver plays a BIG role in what kind of times you'll put out with your car, if you can't drive, you're not gonna get the times that you are "supposed" to get...plain and simple.

You should never look directly at an Eclipse. It's bad for your eyes.

aight, fine, whatever, my car didnt have 475 whp, i lied, and i was just trying to impress you guys, yeah right, my motor was no where near that of a neon motor, it was build, that changes the entire scenerio, my motor was capable of holding all 32 psi i put to it from a turbo that eats a t-25 for lunch. If you dont believe me go to www.kaostuning.com and contact they are the ones that built the motor.

Or hell why dont you come down here to louisville kentucky and ask any racer, any real street racer, who was embaressed when the rsX eclipse pulled on them.

Or ask the kid driving the silver viper who lost a nice amount of change to my sleeper car.

The car was a menace in my town, there now that i have stuck to my guns and not let you dis my old car, let us put this in the past, because i enjoy my new car with power windows and locks much much more.
