Not complicating your thread, but E46 M3's stock hit 12.8-13.0 with a good driver. I'll be S/C'ing my 04 M3, and have read threads of owners hitting 185 at 6000 rpms in 6th gear in the M3 (redline is 8000, moved to 7600 with the AA kit), so you'll get pulled hard if you ever run into an M with Boost... matter of fact the guy with the AA kit lives in Miami, I'll pm him, maybe you guys can run...

My car topped out at 177 mph in Jan on the Dynojet. That was b4 AEM tuning, when I was making 22 whp less.

And FWIW I have yet to have an M3 pull on me. I would love to see it though, b/c I love those cars (almost as much as my S) and am seriously comtemplating getting one after the S is paid for.

BTW: When my head comes back and the 4.5" pulley goes in (I'm thinking @ Oct-Nov), I will be happy to run with your friend's blown M3.

He slowed down at 185 @ 6000 rpms b/c his ACS roof spoiler ripped off, it'd be a run though, I think he'd have the edge but you never know. I give you props on your S though... I'd like to see from a 45mph+++ in 2nd...

I'll let you know....

Oh, trust me, my friend, it's worth it if you have the cash. I saw one parked close to me the other day, also yellow, and I drooled. So hell yes, it's worth it.

under-rated, I would give the edge to a blown M3 as well. After all, he's got a stronger base (330 hp V6) to work from than I do (240 hp V4).

racer chick, thanks.

yella, I am not sold yet. I can think of a few other cars I might rather have for $150K. It IS a beautiful car, though.

rice, I need a camera mount BAD!

They have a camera mount for sportbikes, I almost picked one up for my 03 R6... don't know how quality the visibility is but from the clips I've seen not bad at all.

A 911 GT2 is always nice but its alittle bit more than 150k I believe.
