A 911 GT2 is always nice but its alittle bit more than 150k I believe.
Okay, let's say a 360 Spider, which is closer to the GT2's price, I'd still take the 360 over the GT2 anyday. It just has the aura that's unmatched by the Porsche.

under-rated, I would give the edge to a blown M3 as well. After all, he's got a stronger base (330 hp V6) to work from than I do (240 hp V4).

racer chick, thanks.

yella, I am not sold yet. I can think of a few other cars I might rather have for $150K. It IS a beautiful car, though.

rice, I need a camera mount BAD!
just so you kno, the m3 has an inline6, and the s2000 has an inline4.

My car topped out at 177 mph in Jan on the Dynojet. That was b4 AEM tuning, when I was making 22 whp less.
Apparently you have never taken a physics or an aerodynamics class. There is a little thing call wind resistance 177mph on a dynojet w/no wind resistance....please if you even think that you are gonna come close to that on a highway you are sorely mistaken, because not matter what you do, drag force increases by the square of the velocity, so the faster a car is traveling, the higher the forces are that oppose movement. Basic physics.... 177 on a dyno would more than likely yield about 165 on the road.

Good stuff. Well, I don't know the exact specs between a 360 spider and modena, but i had a spider burn my ass on the freeway a few months ago. basically seemed like i was standing still. But I'm N/A too

You must be new to the s2000 community. Check out this video of a NA s2000 with a mugen ecu and then think how much easier it would be if you had an s2000 w/ 120+ whp on top of the car in the video.

BTW he did 174mph in the video
Honestly if anyone is willing to drive this fast on public roads they are out of their f'ing minds.

Man, I haven't been over to this forum for years, but anyways...

Sounds like bigburp has a sweet car, but I wouldn't be so impressed with myself if I spanked a stock m3 with a highly boosted S2000. I know plenty of really boosted civics which would eat his S2000 alive. It's all relative. Brag about a win when you play fair.

I use the terms V6 and V4 to refer to 6 and 4 cylinder cars, respectively. I suppose I could write I6 and I4, but old habits die hard I guess.
