I'll let the video explain rolls were done from 60mph till the end of my sixth gear so right around 170mph. Of course this was done in mexico.

Well, I was excited briefly, then he ran away from you. Not exactly what I was expecting, but it is what it is. I don’t know what gear ratios your running if stock or not, but his seem to favor more top end/later half of the race for sure. Probably a lot better aerodynamics as well.

Stock gears for now.. Where I really lose it is switching to 6th gear.. I gotta figure out a way to keep the damn turbo spooled between 5th and 6th. Its pretty even all the way till 140mph though .. I was pretty impressed.

Yeah I know, I thought you had it at first and then yeah that's exactly what it seemed like, too much turbo lag between gears and the wrong gear spread. A 3.60 rear end would probably do you wonders. Your just not quite able to capitalize on what that snail is offering. Strong attempt though! And no shame in losing to that amazing car. He had a lot more to lose lol

Thanks! It was alot of fun. I was really surprised how well my car stayed up with his. As far as the motor goes the bottom end is stock and the head has ferrea beehive springs and titanium retainers. It runs on e85 with a big fuel system to support it. I don't have a turbo nsx, Gerry the guy with the ford gt does. His screen name is peiserg on the forum which he also has a turbo s2000 that's a dedicated track car. I did race his turbo nsx as well and didn't have the brake boosting down very well so he pretty much took me every time except the one time I did brake boost.. His nsx is 675 horsepower twin turbo. His turbos spooled way faster than mine did when i just floored it. Brake boosting made a world of difference with the gt race. Next up is some rolling antilag and possibly more boost

Hmm if you bitch slap my fgt I might have to upgrade to turbo. The block can hold 1000rwhp no problem, along with the tranny and halfshafts.

AEM infinity, more fuel, and most likely changing gears in the rear end within the next few months. Hopefully it'll keep me in boost long enough to keep me ahead till the end of 6th gear. If I can stay ahead till the end of 6th I'd be completely satisfied!

Nice!! have you ever been the the 1/4 mile strip? Just curious on what your trap speed is? I'm so tempted to up the boost on my car, but i don't feel like buying bigger injectors.
