That's before we get to any potential legal implications when some numpty posts a video of themselves/their mate doing a hundred million miles an hour down a quiet back street calling it 'sick street racing'.

On track I've been quicker than tings that should be quicker than me (i.e. out braking Caterhams, shouldn't be able to do that to a lighter car), and slower than things I'd think I should be quicker than (Sirocco, Clio, I always say in my mind "Yea, was probably on slicks, probably has a giant turbo, I'm not shit...").

It doesn't really prove much in the end, you don't know how quick the driver is, or what they've done to their car.

Roads are too busy. There is no skill "beating" anyone on the road. It is all down to who is going to take the biggest risk. Hence why I sold my ATR and bought a Volvo.
