I went test driving e46's at a dealership here in CT a few months ago and the sales rep showed me the new M coupe and I wasn't impressed. I thought it was pretty ugly and then after I sat in it, no thanks. Talk about blind spots.

Not a streath. There are uglier cars (New Elise) but the Z4 / Z3 hardtop is one of them as well.

But ugly to some might be beauty to others. Taste is like morals, some peoples are different than others.

Anything that resembles a 240Z, looks good. And this new coupe looks good, and is fast. You'd need a turbo or s/c on S2K to beat one.

z4m looks ridicuously unproportioned. Look how long the hood is and how far back you are sitting. After the C pillar therse basically no more car. The front looks like a rhino hah

This is a great car that I am looking at picking up. It actually looks like the S2000 and funny some of you said it looks horrible . I guess the S2000 looks bad then too. LOL.

The new BMW Z4 M Coupe outperforms any and all S2000 platforms in OEM trim. This car has a 330hp 260+ft/lbs tq and weighs in at 2900 pounds which is online with the S2000s 2818 weight and the NSXs 3100 pounds.

I would take this over the 350z, NSX, and the S2000.

I just test drove a new E46 M3 and was not impressed since the car was way too heavy for the power but this same engine in a Z4 would seriously get up. Slap on some bold-ons and your near 400 hp. Slap on a SC and your at the 450-500 hp range. You need this power if you guys want to keep up with the new BMWs and Mercedes cars coming out now. 205hp and 140 ft/lbs of tq just doesnt cut it anymore.

Heres some pics...

Fixed. And many of the reports indicate that Z4M is not all that faster than E46 M3...at least in straight line up to 60mph.
