I heard a rumor that the 2003 would be the last year that Honda produces the S2000. Just wondering if anyone else has heard this or its just another false rumor. If its true our cars will hold their values even better than they do now!

Yes, 2003 will definitely be the last model year for the S2000; just like 2002 was the last, and 2001 was the last, and 2000 was the only year.

 

I thought that 2001 was the last year! My salesman told me that my 2002 is just a highly modded Civic!

(That was not meant to tease a new member, by the way, more a bit of an inside joke to those of us who have repeatedly heard about the demise of the S2000 from clueless salespeople.)


In reality, there are already seemingly credible reports of a redesign due in 2005, so it looks like this car will be around for a while....

NO, NO, NO. There will be a "re-skin" for '04's. My credibility is zero. Don't believe me. I am talking out of my ass. But, I'll have an '04. As far as mechanical specs., I have no idea.
