I own a 350z (big fan of the s2000). Anyway, on one my 350z forums some people have mentioned that the S2000 is on its last year of production. Now, I haven't read that anywhere other than on my forum.

I remember on April fools day there was a post on here about a GXA (?)...but I'm pretty sure that was a joke....at the very least the photo was a definite photochop.

So, does anyone have any info?

 

I'm sorry, you were misinformed, 2004 was the last production year of the S2000.

Well, had you read this thread ^ you would have know that pretty much every year somebody brings it up that next year will be the last year. It's pretty much a big joke every year. We won't believe it till we see it and you shouldn't either.

 

I'm sorry if my reply seemed mean. The fact is that this question has been asked a countless number of times, and anyone who's been on this board for a while is tired of hearing it. One of our moderators, Wisconsin, even has a counter in his sig for how long it's been since someone has asked this.

Two rules of forum etiquette:
1. Read the stickies! This question has an entire sticky thread devoted to it at the top of this forum. The section is called "Important threads".
2. Search. due to the number of times this question has been asked, there is no way a search would turn up 0 results.

Again I apologize, I'm not usually one to reply with snide remarks. This is just the one question that will twist a nerve on a lot of S2Ki members.

 

I actually tried searching it first, but the articles/threads that I was getting were kind of off topic...or too old to be relevant.

I'm sure it does get asked a lot...because I have read it a few times. The reason that I asked is because lately some off the posts that I have read were coming from, seemingly, intelligent people.

I guess the reply I was looking for was:
A.) don't believe it, people post things of this nature often.
B.) its true, here is a like to the article www.s2000isDead.com

But anyway, I'm glad to hear that it is not (at least we believe) being put to bed.
