600 miles

hopefully i get my car back by the end of the week but i have another question :) ....you guys say not to engage vtec until 600 miles, but none of you told me why ..so, i was just curious..is it personal opinion? factory?:confused:

That is the recommended time by Honda for engine break in. I would recommend you read the owners manual. It has details.

my recollection is that this comes from the factory recommendation of not vtecing until 1000 km...
which is about 620 miles (600 is close enough).
