Mine isn't a QV, I wanted the AWD so I've got a Ti AWD. Per my post above, 13k miles. Zero issues, many smiles.

Lol @ the Alfa Quadrifoglio. If you value your sanity and quality vehicles I'd stay away from it. The one in our dev fleet has had nothing but check engine lights.....the motortrend guys also had problems with theirs long term. Not really known for reliability....more about ITALIAN PASSION.

That's awesome, congrats! I also recently picked up a CTR about a month and a half ago. Just finished breaking it in last week so hopefully this weekend get to open her up a bit. I think it makes a fantastic daily driver because it can be driven like a civilized regular sedan or more engaging by the flick of the wrist. I found many similarities with my CR and plan on keeping both. Love Honda!

I’m also considering the CTR. I want a fun daily that won’t be a mess at the track and one that can also transport my 60lb dog. The exterior styling is the only thing causing me pause. The alternative is a used M2. I really need to test drive both cars.

Do you get weird looks from co-workers? How did you get past the fake grills?

I wish they'd done more with the CTR....

Rob it must be difficult being afraid to buy a car because people might give you weird looks, or tease you about the aesthetic of the grills.

Mind if I ask how much time have you spent behind the wheel of a CTR?

The CTR does absolutely nothing for me from the standpoint of looks. Simply horrid is how I would describe the styling. But thank god Honda offers this car for those who want it. As ugly as I find it, I would surely take it over the ubiquitous CUV that so many choose for their daily driver. (I don’t care what the brand is or how impressive the performance might be, I would never own a CUV.)

By most all accounts the CTR is a blast to drive. It would nicely compliment the S2000 experience. The fact that it is a Honda is a definite bonus. I would not buy a new one, but if the price were right for a used one then who knows? Just do not try to sell me on the looks. Seriously, if you actually like the looks of this car then It seems hard to go wrong with this choice as a compliment to the S.
