aem cold air intake?

hi
i just bought the aem intake...
just wondering..
is that really noticeable that power u gain when i install it?
or just u can notice the sound diff.?
just cant wait till getting mine... haha..

how much power i can get it from?
i heard..abt 8hp on the wheel...is that true?

Just to let you know, gains from a CAI are very minimal on the S.
At least the sound of an AEM will make you smile though

The AEM is good for 5-10 hp. It is noticeable, and to me, the sound is awesome .

lets put it this way. I know its not a purely empiracle test but I raced my brothers s2k all the time. He is bone stock and I raced him with only aem cai. I pull on him everytime. He is a better driver and has been driving s2ks alot longer than i have.

Yea. I just installed mine and really don't notice a power boost. The car does seem more responsive though.


BUT you are going to LOVE the sound

plus the car will have a lot less bogging in the warmer weather (if we ever see warmer weather again)
