although RT beat me to it I am running Fikse wheels as well although they are FM5s. 18x10 and 18x8 285s and 235s. I will get pics up as soon as my crappy camera works again. BTW RT if you run Pzeros for the 911 turbo they have a kevlar bead so they end up being lighter than stock

I'm thinking of buying some 17s... Either FM5s or FM10.

And yes, they have done a run especially for the S with the correct offsets.

Weight is 10Kg front (22lbs), and 11Kg back (24Kg).

Stock wheels are 18lbs according to another thread.

FINALLY!!!! Both weights. So now let me ask the question.....is that bad?! Its about 4 lb at each corner.(rolling mass) What performance losses will we see?

I'm not sure. But you have to remember that if you use the correct rolling circumference tire you have more wheel (4lbs more), less tire wall (-??lbs). Of course if you go for a wider tire you're also adding more rubber at the outer most point, which is the worst place to add it.

End of the day, these are not a superlightweight racing wheel. And they don't cost a grand a corner either. Infact you'll come out of the whole exercise for less than a $1000.

I say put the money you save towards a Comptech SC! That should make up for that 4lbs .

F20C, SoCal,

The wheels are probably made by Volk/Rays for 5Zigen.

No big deal. BBS and OZ Racing make a lot of wheels for German tuners.
