Here is a little mini explanation I made for another member on relocating bumper tabs and shaving fenders.
First off, you would be wise to do both- roll your fender and relocate the tab. Its easy. First, unscrew the screw and save it for use a bit later. Next dremmel or cut out the tab. I actually went ahead and cut out more of the material so that I would have even more room for wheel and tire. This is a good idea, because the more room you have, the better. And you would probably be surprised at how little can make such a big deal.
Next, you drill a small hole in a similar location about five inches towards the rear of the car. Just draw a line with your mind of the wheel/tire travel, and make sure the new location is out of the way. After drilling a small hole, go ahead and use you old screw in the new location. Again, I recommend rolling the fender, relocating the tab and screw, and maybe even cutting some of the material out of there too.
I would recommend this before anything else as it is easy and cheaply done.

haha i had to do all the above - rolling fender/relocating tab/shaving bumper/alignment to get my rims to stop rubbing! definately look at the tab first and then the bumper - most people think the fenders are rubbing when its actually the bumper return itself.

Its not so bad- especially when you feel the benefits. It is well worth it. I don't have any pics of the actual inside of the fender, but I can tell you that no one could/would ever be able to tell the difference.
S2000GT- you are so right!

thanks, im running azenis too and i remember riley (rijowysock) once refered to them
as the anti-christ to fenders because they run kinda beefy...

but im determined to make these tires work, they are so0o niice

so far i got all these options to think about...

-switch to higher springs (tein s-techs, swifts, or eibachs)

-fender rolling and bumper shaving (last resort?)

-coilovers

-aggressive alignment

so many options...so little $$$
Yeah the Azenis are great tires and they look HOT! I am now running 275s and when you look at my car from a 3/4 view the car just looks sick! They are so meaty it's ridiculous.

Zenas - (sprix) I might need you to help me at a tech day

back to your question...

an aggressive alignment should not effect your tire wear- did mine about 3 years ago and the wear is completely even.
was rubbing on all 4 before the alignment and now only rub on good bumps in the front. dont rub in the back at all.
did not roll the fenders- but i am only dropped an inch...

here is a pic of my alignment + fender roll/shave.. it still rubs. i think i am going to have to relocate the rear bumper bolt as well, even though i already took it out and replaced it with a ziptie.. i guess its time to shave the entire thing out then. anyway, onto the pics:
