Default To the a$$hole who lost a painting ladder on the highway....

..............thank you for saving me about $1000 since this ricer bumper had to be replaced anyways. Hopefully Geico will let me get the AP2 stock bumper over the AP1. Regardless, i was wondering how i would get the cash for a new bumper but thanks to a fool...im all set.

Hitting a tumbling ladder at 75 MPH is no fun people..no fun...

I wanted to post your bumper was ugly as shit, but glad to know you already agree. Btw, your bumper looks like shit!

Was there any other damage from the ladder? Like did it hit or mess up anything else?

yeah that bumper came with the car and the cost of a new bumper with paint / install was gonna cost me at least $1000. Funny i was in the process of saving for one and almost have the cash..guess that can go towards and exhaust now..

There is more damage actually. the passengers side door has two huge gouges and the fender as well. Im going to get Geico to cover a new alignment too as that is now an issue. i dont see any leaks or any damage under the car but im going to have it well inspected before i do any repairs..

Glad that you're ok. So what exactly happened... Did you end up driving over the whole ladder? Or did it just hit and stick to your bumper till you came to a stop? Or just bounce off your bumper right there? Oh yeah and like everyone else said, I was going to tell you how ugly your bumper was too lol. Glad you hated it along with the rest of us!!

Ha Ha yeah that bumper was going to go anyways so I’m glad it’s a done deal now. What happened was I was driving to work today and was in the center lane of a three lane highway. I’m cruising along at about 75 mph when I see the car in front of me quickly swerve out of the way of a tumbling object..and a BIG tumbling object. I had no time to really react and I didn’t swerve because I knew I wasn’t clear on the left or right side of me. So I just braced for impact.

It was pretty loud and the car jolted hard. I pull over and know before I even leave the car the front end is damaged. A few maintenance guys came buy and removed the ladder which another car ended up hitting but that person didn’t have full coverage and the ladder had been flattened by my car so she just rolled over it.

I’m realizing now how lucky I am to be sitting here typing this because the ladder was tumbling and if it had been at a certain angle when it hit my car I could have been impaled on it. It was a close call..
