I was just wondering if all AP2 headlights are the same... like are the 04-05's the same as the 06-07's. I know there were some changes between those years, but I wasn't sure about the headlights.

Reason I ask is I have an AP2 passenger headlight (dunno what year) and want to get the drivers side.

 

the housings are identical 04-07 but maybe honda changed somethin on the ballasts. But most likely they are the same.

 

Of course not ! The right and left are different - duh !

 

The 06-07 has a different lense for it's projector.

I mean the only change was 06 has DRL's which has nothing to do with the projectors, totally different bulb.
Glad I have my '05 and don't have to disconnect those things

I don't there is any difference in the design, but 06+ have drls so they are on all the time. I have noticed a blue reflection in the high beam area of the 06+ - not sure what that is...

The AP1 uses clear lens with a DOT cutoff and so does the version 1 AP2. The AP2 v2 (06+) use fresnel lens with ECE cut off. All new cars use fresnel lenses.

 

is there anyway to find out which one i have? like any visible changes from the ap2 v1 and ap2 v2?
