Any bankers or interest rates knowledge?
Any bankers, or anyone for that matter, know of any banks with low interest rates? I know they're low, but want to see how low I can go.
Thanx,
Chris

We just bought our 03 S2000 and Honda Finance gave us 3.4 percent for 60 months. We were told that the rate was for people with 750 credit scores or higher. We had already been preapproved at my credit union for 3.9 so obviously we went with Honda. Good luck to you.

for the lowest non-factory-supported interest rates, you are almost always going to have to go to a credit union. check out www.ncua.gov . it has a list of the thousands of credit unions across the country.
we just refinanced a loan on our '02 lx470 at www.penfed.com . the rate was 3.9% for 60 months.
credit unions must restrict their membership to a specific group or groups, however many have ways to gain entry aside from these primary groups. pentagon FCU serves military and civilian employees of the pentagon. we do not work there. membership may be granted if you make a small donation to a charity that helps families of the military.
we belong to about a dozen credit unions and have access to a great variety of loan/savings and checking options.
good luck.

Thanx for the info. Very much appreciated. I'm trying to lower my damn payments. Its a 01' with only 11,000 on the clock. I'm hoping to get a 60 month.

he may be staring at a $600 to $650 payment each month. that can be pretty daunting. the interest rate is probably not very competitive either. why not refi with a low interest rate. maybe not draw it back out to 60 months. i'd rathe rhave the cushion of a lower payment and have the ability to pay extra rather than look for change in the couch cushions in order to make the big payment.
personally, i like the longer term.
