No airbag = no way for me but if you trust your 30 dollar steering wheel to save your life then go for it.

Airbags don't do shlt. I had both of mine go off in a crash and they were more of a PITA than anything else. You taste airbag powder for at least a day after. How did so many generations survive without them? When they are standard equipment on a F1 car I'll use one . I have a quick release system and a streering yoke on my car.
ask someone that know anything about physic and how airbag works before bashing it.
i rather have the airbag burn than getting my melon popped.

I've got one of those, though it's not a "titanium" one, just aluminum.
I use it in my other car that didn't come with an airbag when I don't want to get my Momo dirty (rallyx).
First, it's not leather, it's some plastic/vinyl crap. Second, mine does flex a bit if you tug on the top of the wheel. The Momo doesn't do that.
It might not be good for a track only car, but maybe you want to try it for $30?

So I take it you didn't die?
Anyway, I'd rather keep my airbag. Also, the S2000 steering wheel looks decent.

Before the hans (head and neck support) system was developed for f1 drivers, FIA was planning to install airbags in f1s, but was not very successful, because it was difficult to time the deployment accurately and the speeds often vary. That was why they went with the hans system. If airbags don't do shit, i wonder why did FIA even thought about putting it in the cars? Would you rather taste airbag powder for a day or have your skull cracked open? Even my 9 year old sister knows the answer to that.
