Default anyone else get problems with 19"rims?

i got 19" advan kreuzers with tein ra suspension on my s2k but took it off after a week. i lowered the car so that there is about a 2centimeter fender gap. as I was going into a gas stations' driveway, the fender violently shredded chucks of meat off the side of my tire. I was devestated but i figured it was just my fault cause probably i drove into the driveway too fast. another driveway came along and it was even worse this time. the tires pryed my front right fender out and shredded up my tires again. so now, my fenders in the front looks as if i tried to custom my own wide fenders. btw, im running 225/35 tires in the front and its 7.5" wide. i want to solve this problem without rasing the ride height. would 215/30 tires work or would it be just a waste of time and money? if anyone went through this sort of problem, i would appreciate any helpful information. thanks!

Advan Kreuzers arent ideal for the S2000. Im assuming you are running a 45 offset if that? That is way too low in the rear
the best thing to do is raise your car up and roll the fenders
