Default Anyone miss their S0-2's?

I'm still running mu OEM 16" S0-2's that came with the car, but I am thinking about a 17" wheel with a bigger contact patch. Does anyone who has done this feel that the 16" with S0-2's and smaller contact patch performed better than their upgrade???

When I had to get race rubber, I bought 17" street wheels and rubber and used the stockers for the DoT R's. My Khumo Mx rubber is very good, but SO-2's really are an awesome tire. If you're not concerned about cost on the 17's you could try the BFG KDs - excellent tire (like the SO-2s, poor in the rain) but pretty costly.

Do the new MY04's come with S02's?

If so, you might be able to fit the new size S02's on your new 17' wheels.

I had my S02 then switch to s03. The differences was grip level was a bit less but traction in the rain was greater. But I believe I will miss the S03 completley because 150 for oem tires is not cool for only 10k. Yokohama ES100 here I come. How much are you guys paying for Yokohama ES100?

Yoko ES100's have been a good solution for me. Good wear, noise reduction, and much better wet traction. All in all a good, less expensive alternative.
