Anyone use a (kids) booster seat in the S?
Let's leave aside the should you/shouldn't you, etc etc, and just answer the question. I want a booster seat to put my daughter in the S for short trips around town. Will any old one do or should I look for a specific one?
Note: I did a search but nothing was recent. Looking for a good booster seat I could potentially buy today.

Yes, I have. I just used one of the boosters from our other cars, nothing special. Most don't fit well in the seat bottom cushion as the cushion is narrow.
I only ever did it for short trips, but it worked. I used a booster seat only, not one of the ones with the backs to it, just the lower part.

Do you know of a brand that runs narrow, or will fit the S? I plan to keep my daughter in her Britax convertible seats in our other cars, I want to buy a booster specifically for the S for occasional around town trips.

It's legal in WA, and my kids love it!
I put my 6 year old in a booster by Cosco, but it's a bit wider than I would like. It sits a little crooked, but not horrible.
I think you would be hard pressed to find one that would fit in in the bottom cushion without rubbing on the bolsters.

The previous owner of the S that I just recently purchased put a child's seat in it on the day before I bought it (day after my test drive)... He was doing this as a a "last ride with daddy" sort of thing. Well I don't think that he cared much for the condition of the car anymore, and now I'm left with two permanent dents in the seat foam.
Just be careful and add some padding/towels.

Did you guys get an airbag disable switch? Sorry maybe slightly off topic but related. It's legal where I live also (OR), as there is no backseat to put the kid. My last two seater (Z4M coupe) had a key slot to disable airbag on passenger dash.
