AP2 OEM passenger side seat sticks up higher than driver side?

Ive had two different sets of the new OEM seats and rails (the ones that dont have the hole in the head rest)

and it seems the passenger side seat always rests a little higher above the back roll mounts than the driver's side, no matter how you play with the adjustments.

Do you guys have the same experiences, or is it just me?

Is there a way to fix this?

That's so if you roll over, your girlfriend's head will protect you from injury. Standard safety feature.

I never had this anomaly with MY06, must be you , adjusting the seats so not sure how come yours is like this. Would be interested to find out why.

Excellent response sir, excellent!!

I haven't noticed, but then again, I haven't looked for that difference. You do have more of the transmission sticking out into the passenger side floor, so it is possible they have it slightly raised to allow for more leg room?
